FEMTO Engineering is the engineering center of FEMTO-ST Institute (Besançon, France). Thus, FEMTO Engineering works in close collaboration with the Institute to offer to manufacturers high-level specific engineering developments resulting from the research works of the FEMTO-ST Institute. FEMTO Engineering carries out developments in 6 major technological sectors: electrical engineering, optics / photonics and laser machining, digital and microwave electronics, clean room micro-technologies, robotics and mechanics. Since its creation in 2013, FEMTO Engineering has been handling commercialization of the cryogenic sapphire oscillator (CSO) ULISS (www.uliss-st.com), a frequency source with ultimate short-term stability performances (<3e- 15 from 1 to 10,000 s). FEMTO Engineering also provides solutions for the transmission of ultrastable RF and microwave signals over optical fibers. FEMTO Engineering’s Time-Frequency team has expertise in the design of low noise digital and analog electronics, RF, microwave and custom synthesis chain.
